The faulty protection relay is removed and replaced with the same make and model, wired, set up and tested.
The faulty relay and housing (if withdrawable) are disconnected and removed completely from the door. The door is measured to the new relay dimensions and cut to suit. The edging is treated. If necessary, a pre-designed surround is utilized to cover any of the cut out showing from the original relay cut out.
The new relay is rewired, setup and fully tested.
The site test sheet is captured on our Database and a copy is emailed to the customer to keep in his maintenance file.
We have various solutions where the existing protection housing / layouts are adapted to house new modern protection relays. The old existing relays on site are then simply removed and the retrofit options are pluged-bolted in with minimal wiring required.
Typical time for installations is 30 – 60 minutes.
